We meet on the 4th Sunday of the month at 4pm. In July, we have a potluck summer party and in December we have a potluck book exchange. Our meetings are a speaker format, with authors, police, coroners, forensic experts and other specialists in fields that relate to crime. We have an excellent email newsletter monthly. We welcome all visitors and new members, both readers and writers.
In addition to the meetings, we occasionally have extra activities such as sponsoring an out-of-town author and field trips. We sponsor a trip of mystery to Great Britain on a bi-annual basis. The trip is based on mystery books, authors and events and can be seen at www.countrydaytravel.com (click on "Mystery"). Most trips are co-sponsored with Murder by the Book in Houston.
