Sisters Solve Mysteries
In Celebration of Booksellers and Librarians
Sisters in Crime celebrated 25 years of working with librarians and booksellers in support of women writing crime fiction with a special event on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (local time) across the U.S. and Canada. By working in a library or bookstore for six hours, Sisters in Crime volunteers learned how librarians and booksellers solve their own daily mysteries.
Many of our volunteers tweeted, posted to Facebook and blogged about their experiences (click here to view the complete list).
You can also check out the event-specific website at www.sisterssolvemysteries.com, where you'll find useful information like the maps of participating locations and the press release describing in detail this special event.
Here are some great links to view highlights of the day:

Sisters in Crime is pleased at the sucess of the program, designed to shine a bit of a spotlight on these hardworking—and often unsung—heroes and heroines of our communities.
