This year's keynote speaker: NY Times bestselling author and SinC founder, Sara Paretsky

SinC Desert Sleuths are hosting a gala reception and unveiling of the latest Desert Sleuths anthology beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Hotel Valley Ho. Speakers at the conference will be in attendance for this as well. The reception is restricted to persons aged 21 and over. All adult conference attendees are welcome to attend the reception free of charge. There will, however, be a charge of $15 to bring a guest.

Registration, which includes appetizers on Friday evening, a continental breakfast and plated lunch on Saturday, is $115 for members; nonmember registration is $125.

Terri Bischoff, Acquirng Editor for Midnight Ink, will be happy to hear pitches from attendees, including un-agented writers.  Carol Test, Professional Editor, is offering a one-on-one editing session for attendees for a $30 fee (see website for details).
