Newsletter

InSinC, the national newsletter, is only available to SinC members. It is published quarterly.

Contributions: Articles of interest to mystery readers and/or authors are always welcomed. If you have an idea for an article please query the editor, Bonnie J. Cardone, via e-mail: bonnie@bonniejcardone.com. InSinC’s deadlines are:

  • January 15 for the March issue
  • April 15 for the June issue
  • July 15 for the September issue
  • October 15 for the December issue

E-Mail or Snail Mail? Members may receive their newsletters via snail mail or e-mail. If you’re currently getting it by snail mail and wish to have it e-mailed (that version is a PDF file in color), contact:

Newsletter Columns:

  • The Docket: Announcements for new books (please, no reprints), short stories, articles and plays (all relating to mysteries), also nominations and awards, may be sent to The Docket editor, Patricia Gulley, via e-mail: . Please put The Docket in the subject line of your e-mail—otherwise it won't be opened.

    Please do not send publicity sheets or the address of your website. The format is simple:

    • Name of author, TITLE OF BOOK, name of publisher, month to be released
    • Name of author, TITLE OF STORY, name of magazine or anthology, month to be released.
    • The awards and nominations may be in sentence format.
    • No ISBN numbers, character names, series names or places to buy the books will be listed.

  • Conferences and Happenings: InSinC lists upcoming mystery and writer’s conventions/conferences as well as various book events. E-mail information to Bonnie J. Cardone: .
