The July We Love Bookstores Award winner is Blacksburg Books in Blacksburg, Virginia

Ellen described the bookstore as, “a mix of used and new books, bookish gifts, and local crafts. We’re a small space but we pack a lot in! We’ve recently had an uptick in customers asking for cozy mysteries, so we’re working on expanding that selection.” Creating a vibrant community of book lovers, the bookstore hosts author nights, book signings and launches, and poetry open mic nights.

The bookstore website lists staff picks, has a recommendation form for staff to make suggestions for your next read, and publishes poems written by customers every week.
