Tracee de Hahn
Born in Missouri and raised in Kentucky, Tracee graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Architecture, later pursuing advanced degrees in European History. After practicing architecture, she served as executive director of a Planning and Preservation non-profit in Lexington, Kentucky, then as assistant vice president of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After writing several non-fiction books for young adults, she turned to fiction with the publication of traditional mysteries with Minotaur Books. A member of International Thriller Writers and Mystery Writers of America, she is president of Sisters in Crime. She and her husband live in southwest Virginia.

Raquel V. Reyes
Raquel V. Reyes writes Latina protagonists. Her Cuban-American heritage, Miami, and Spanglish feature prominently in her work. Mango, Mambo, and Murder, the first in the Caribbean Kitchen Mystery series, won a LEFTY for Best Humorous Mystery. It is in production to become the TV series "Miami Spice." Her work has been nominated for Agatha and Anthony Awards and has won an International Latino Book Award Gold Medal. Raquel's short stories appear in various anthologies, including The Best American Mystery and Suspense 2022.
Her leadership experience is varied and extensive. She has been a Volunteer Coordinator at an AIDS service organization and a Worship Coordinator at her Unitarian Universalist Congregation. She has served on the Mystery Writers of America National Board, done two terms on the MWA-Florida chapter board, been on the Guppies Steering Committee, and was a co-chair of the writing craft conference, SleuthFest, for five years. Raquel values inclusion, equity, and education.

Lori Rober
ts Herbst is the author of the Callie Cassidy Mystery series. The first book in the series, Suitable for Framing, recently won the 2022 Silver Falchion Best Cozy Mystery award, as well as 2nd Runner Up for Best Book of 2021. Her books have twice earned CIBA Murder and Mayhem first-place awards. Lori is a former journalism teacher and counselor who now writes, indie publishes, and markets her books. A proud member of the SinC Guppy chapter, she moderates the Cozy Gup group.

Amy Condra is an aspiring mystery writer who currently serves as a communication lead for the U.S. Agency for International Development. Prior to joining government service, Amy worked as a journalist: first as a new media content supervisor with Knight Ridder/McClatchy, and then as a reporter and editor with Media General. She has won several Virginia Press Association awards for investigative journalism and editorial writing, was the recipient of a 2009 fellowship from the Maynard Institute of Journalism Education, and is the author of

Delia Pitts
Delia Pitts is the author of Trouble in Queenstown, a contemporary mystery set in small-town New Jersey, featuring private investigator Vandy Myrick, which was published in summer 2024 by Minotaur Books. In 2021, Delia C. Pitts published
crime fiction in several major anthologies. Her short story, “The Killer,” was included in Best American Mystery and Suspense 2021 (HarperCollins). Her story, “Midnight Confidential,” was published in the crime anthology Midnight Hour (Crooked
Lane). And her fictionalized family memoir, “Talladega 1925,” was one of only eight short stories selected for the Chicago Quarterly Review’s Anthology of Black American Literature. In addition, Delia has self-published six novels in a contemporary
noir private eye series set in Harlem. Born and raised in Chicago, Delia is a former university administrator and U.S. diplomat who has a B.A. from Oberlin College and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Chicago. She lives with her husband

Writing as Liz Milliron, Mary Sutton is the Shamus award-nominated author of the Laurel Highlands mystery series, starring a Pennsylvania State Trooper and a Fayette County public defender in the scenic Laurel Highlands of southwest Pennsylvania.
She is also the author of the Homefront Mysteries, set in Buffalo, NY in the early years of WWII. The books feature Betty Ahern, a Rosie the Riveter with dreams of becoming Sam Spade. Mary is a past president of the Pittsburgh Chapter
of Sisters in Crime, the current Vice President, and has served on the local board in three positions. She has been a member of Sisters in Crime since 2011. She is also a member of International Thriller Writers, Pennwriters and the

genre. Richards is from Vancouver, Canada and currently makes her home in Phoenix, Arizona. New for 2024: INSENSIBLE LOSS, the fourth book in the Endings series featuring a reluctant hit woman struggling towards the light. Linda’s 2021 novel,

Two-time Daphne du Maurier Award finalist, K.D. Richards writes pulse pounding romantic suspense and thrillers. K.D. was born and raised in the Maryland suburbs just outside of Washington, D.C. A writer since a young age, after college she earned a law degree and worked as an attorney and legal instructor for fifteen years but never stopped writing fiction. She currently lives in Toronto with her husband and two sons.

Karen Odden
After a career in publishing and marketing, Karen Odden earned her Ph.D. in English from New York University, writing her dissertation on Victorian literature and history. Subsequently, she taught at the UW-Milwaukee and served as an editor for the academic journal Victorian Literature and Culture. With her love of all things Victorian, when she turned to fiction, she set all her novels in 1870s London. Her fifth, Under a Veiled Moon, was nominated for the Agatha, Anthony, and Lefty awards for best historical mystery.
A longtime member of Sisters in Crime, Karen serves as the programming chair for Desert Sleuths, one of the Arizona chapters. She frequently offers workshops on aspects of craft and the writing life by zoom nationwide. A transplant from New York City, Karen lives in Arizona with her family, where she loves to hike the desert under the big blue bowl of sky.

Judge Debra H. Goldstein writes Kensington’s Sarah Blair mystery series. Wendy H. Jones is a multi-award-winning Scottish author of crime thrillers, cozy mysteries, Young Adult Mysteries, children’s picture books and non-fiction books for writers. She has a real love for supporting writers and authors as a writing and marketing coach. She is the past President of The Scottish Association of Writers, was the webmaster for The Association of Christian Writers and the Secretary of The Society of Authors in Scotland. In addition she is a highly sought after public speaker and workshop leader, having spoken to audiences worldwide. Having retired from a career as a military nurse in both the Royal Navy and the Army, she spends her time writing, reading, and travelling the world. Her passion is combining all three.

Sheri Lewis Wohl is an award-winning author of paranormal mystery/thrillers featuring strong female protagonists. She makes her home in NE Washington where she writes her stories of murder, mayhem, and all things paranormal. While she has yet to actually encounter a vampire, werewolf, or ghost, she never stops looking for them when darkness falls. A recently retired Policy Analyst with the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, and former Humans Remains Detection K9 Handler, Sheri hasn’t slowed down at all. She continues to write her stories of dark and dangerous characters, is working on running half-marathons in all 50 states, and loves to hang out with her trusty German shepherds.

Julie is a former board member of Sisters in Crime and of Sisters in Crime New England. Her career has been in arts administration, serving as the executive director of Sisters in Crime since May 2021. Previously she was the executive director of StageSource, a service organization for the New England theater community. Julie’s seven years running StageSource gave her a great deal of insight into the changes that membership organizations must make in order to remain relevant. At StageSource she tackled issues around accessibility, diversity, sexual harassment, and more. She also created support systems for a Gender Parity Task Force and the New England New Play Alliance. She has been a creativity coach, and still teaches arts management courses. Julie is also a mystery author who attributes much of her success to Sisters in Crime.
Next Wave Group LLC, is a full-service association and organization management firm that specializes in using technology and interfacing systems to provide simple, cost-effective solutions. They have been doing association management since 1992, initially as a department within a sister firm, Bay Media, Inc. In 2000, Next Wave Group, LLC became a separate company. The firm has been operating virtually since 2006, using a network of team members all over the United States. Team members routinely work from home and systems are optimized for this model.
The president and CEO of Next Wave Group is Pat Troy, a Certified Association Executive. She also has a background in publishing and was a school/college librarian. Among her leadership roles, she has previously served on the Anne Arundel County (Maryland) Library Foundation Board as member and chair.
